Business Challenge
An independent inventor, launching his new venture to promote hyper local deals on food, in India, Jordan & Dubai – approached Codewave with a need for holistic design and development of a suite of mobile & web applications for consumers, vendors & administrators to effectively offer deals, run loyalty programs to drive repeat engagement. Local businesses would signup on the platform to offer consumers exclusive deals, that people can be avail at the store by walking in and scanning a QR code. The platform would issue loyalty cards to various segments of users – like students, mothers & seniors.
The app was expected to be built on ReactNative to be adapted to both Android & iOS platforms.
Solution
Codewave designed and developed the end to end solution, with a suite of apps for deal redemption at the moment of consumption. The solution covered design and development of a “local offers” app that rewards repeat buying from local / nearby retailers (food, groceries, services etc), a “deal push” app that enables vendors to push exclusive offers on a daily basis and an admin app that enables the platform to manage subscriptions.
The app was developed on ReactNative framework, built for both Android and iOS and integrated with Google’s Firebase. The platform was targeted to work for 3 markets – India (Rupee), Jordan (Dinar), Dubai (Dirham) and will initially support english language.
