Business Challenge
An independent inventor, launching his new venture to promote sports careers in India and in other countries, approached Codewave with a need for holistic design and development of a mobile application for bringing together young talent – starting with football players, scouts & agents, enabling undiscovered potential meet the right opportunities. The app was expected to be built on ReactNative to be adapted to both Android & iOS platforms.
The app was intended to be used by players, scouts, agents, clubs & admin – enabling discovery of promising talent, sharing of events and videos.
Solution
Codewave designed and developed the end to end solution, with a suite of apps – to fulfill the client need above, enabling initial go-to-market launch in 5 months. Players could browse through upcoming events and connect with Scouts (via 1-1 messaging) to pursue opportunities of their choice. Players could also share football videos (similar to posting on Instagram), & content shared will appear on the public feed available for all users.
Scouts & Agents could post events, that when once approved by admin, became visible on the public feed available for all users. Scouts / Agents could also browse through list of players and contact them 1-1 via the messaging window. Admin could review all videos posted and assign a rating. Admin could also block players / scouts / agents from posting content, participating on the platform or simply take down any content posted on the feed.
